❤️ What a first season.

As the sun begins to set on our first season at Cook Inlet Cabins, we can’t help but look back with so much gratitude.

This summer brought more than we ever could have hoped for. It was full of beautiful days, incredible Alaska views, and, most importantly, so many smiling faces and wonderful guests. We’ve loved meeting each of you, hearing about your adventures, and getting to share this little piece of Alaska with you.

To everyone who chose to stay with us this year: thank you. Thank you for supporting our first season, for the kind words and conversations, and for making Cook Inlet Cabins part of your Alaska memories. You made this season incredibly special for us. ❤️

We still have a couple of weeks left before we close the cabins for winter, so there’s still time for one last Alaska getaway. And then, we’ll be counting down the days until we open our doors again next May.

Here’s to an amazing first season—and to all the adventures still to come. We hope we’ll see many of your familiar faces again next year.

One of my favorite things about staying here is how quiet the evenings are.

The campfires burn low, the conversations grow quieter, and before long, all that's left is the moon hanging over another beautiful Alaska night.

There's something special about summer evenings at Cook Inlet Cabins. 🌅

As the sun begins to set, the property fills with the simple moments that make an Alaska getaway unforgettable.

Guests gather around crackling campfires, refill their water bottles with our fresh spring water, take in the breathtaking scenery, and watch their dogs happily explore the property. 💙🐾

Meanwhile, nature puts on a show of its own. Eagles soar overhead, young wildlife can sometimes be spotted nearby, vibrant fireweed blankets the landscape, and each sunset reminds us why we fell in love with this place.

It's peaceful. It's beautiful. And it's the kind of evening you'll remember long after your vacation ends.

Our favorite guests stopped by again tonight... ❤️🫎

Just at about midnight, Mama Moose came strolling through the Cook Inlet Cabins yard with her twins in tow.

We've been watching this little family all summer long, and it's hard to believe how much those babies have grown! When they first wandered onto the property, those tiny calves still had wobbly little legs. Now they're growing into strong, curious youngsters who aren't quite so little anymore.

It's been such a joy to watch them grow up right here in our yard. Moments like these remind us just how special life on the Kenai Peninsula truly is.

You never know who might stop by for a visit when you're staying at Cook Inlet Cabins. ❤️

🚨 Well... we finally did it! 🤪
She's finished!

Our fifth cabin, The Midnight Sun Cabin, is officially ready, and although she's arriving just in time for shoulder season... we'll just call it perfect timing. 😉

This sweet little bungalow is cozy, comfortable, and just the right size for two. It features:🤍 A private bedroom with a queen bed🤍 A cozy loveseat🤍 A full bathroom🤍 A kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and percolator🤍 Gorgeous views overlooking Cook Inlet
