I don’t like to be boastful very often however today is an exception.
We really have some of the most wonderful families that stay here with us.
This custom designed mug was given to us. My only concern is that it is really to special to actually use.

As the resort preparations for today are going on we want to pause, remember and honor a great guy!
Jim Lommel started the Fritz’s fireworks in 1994, a tradition that is still going on.
He would drive around the lake and invite all to enjoy the show. Even when he was no longer able to be on the boat he still went with to buy and then organize the order of the fireworks.
Jim passed away this February.
The fireworks tonight will start with a single firework and then a moment of silence in Jim’s honor.
Please feel free to enjoy the show starting about 9:50.

Jim and Shirley spent 35 years as seasonals, Jim filled many roles here at the resort but my favorite was the relationship that he shared with Bugs!

The sun is out, the weather is nice, the loons are back with their babies and the mosquitoes are not out yet!Come enjoy ...
