Our sweet Rachel took her last breath at the campground at 4:20 a.m. Friday morning…. somehow perfectly on brand for Sleepybear 🏕️
She loved being here more than anything. It was home because of the people, the friendships, the music, and all the love that surrounded her. 🎶♥️🫂
Rachel had a way of making everyone feel like an old friend. She was loving, hilarious, a little mischievous, and always ready with an inside joke, a playful argument, or some loving harassment. She could give you a hard time and somehow make you feel even more loved because of it 🤣
Even through everything she faced medically, Rachel stayed positive, present, and focused on enjoying life as much as she possibly could. She laughed, danced, loved people well, and always found a way to have a good time 🕺🪩
If you ever bought merch or concessions from Rachel, sat with her at the picnic table, or caught a boogie with her at a show, you already know how special she was.
She was such a huge part of this family, and her presence will be felt here forever.
We love you Rachel Anne LaCava. We’re so thankful we got to know you, laugh with you, and love you. 🤍🐻✌️🪽
