Please note that Nome Schoolhouse will be closed to the public Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th as we host a private event.

Be sure to come dine with us on Wednesday or Thursday before we close for the weekend! We will resume our normal operating schedule next week.

Due to popular demand, we’ve added a new session for our "Tote-it" Nome Basket Weaving Class at the Nome Schoolhouse!

Join expert instructor Marcy Blikre for a fun, hands-on day of crafting. You'll learn to layout a base, weave accent rows (including Cherokee Wheels!), and finish your tote with beautiful 30” leather handles. Whether you use it as a project basket, a stylish purse, or a mail tote, you'll walk away with a handcrafted piece that is both beautiful and functional!
