Redpath Retreat is a beautiful fully equipped private cabin sitt

Enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of nature in our lovely private cabin. Our farm site sits on a creek, surrounded by 40+ acres of prairie grasses and wildflowers. It is located on the west central Minnesota prairie and is home to eagles, fox, deer, coyote and multiple species of migrating birds and waterfowl which make it great for bird watching. Watch the sun rise and set and enjoy camp fires un

der the star filled night skies. A great place to get away from the every day hustle and bustle of our lives.

With the recent rains everything is so green again. The birds are back, flowers are popping up the meadow is coming in after our prescribed burn. The chickens are so happy running around!
It really is spring!

Spring is here!!! The geese swans and ducks are flying. The river is open. Redpolls, redwing blackbirds, robins, white-throated sparrows! A cacophony of sounds. AND the chickens are so happy to be out wandering around!

During our walk through the meadow we saw a doe run by the cabin and out to the back grove. We walked a bit further and came upon a newly born fawn standing on its wobbly legs. watched it for quite a while until in walked into the wildflowers and grasses. Amazing!

So many beautiful birds are back, the orioles, finches, restart, catbird, brown thrasher, swallows, goldfinches, rose-breasted grosbeak and many more!!!
