*** It is a stone's throw from the Chesapeake Bay. For us this was
a holiday retreat while visiting relatives in Hampton and Virginia Beach. We arrived to find a welcome basket with coffee, tea, and ready made dinner goodies. We were happy to be able to have our corgi, Ruby with us during the stay.

***This spot was ideal for our party, as we spent much of our time
in downtown Norfolk. The 'hideaway' is in a charming beachy neighborhood, across from an historic park. Truly a short walk to the beach with no streets to cross. We had a great weekend there!

***Very nice place! Clean and tidy. We did not have time to cook there as we did not arrive till REALLY late at night! It is just steps from the beach. If I go back to the area I will definitely stay again!

***4 stars--and I'm a very tough grader! Great experience! Convenient, comfortable and spotlessly clean condo, just 200 feet to the beach. The owner is very pleasant and easy to work with. Linens, towels, and many beach amenities are provided. The unit is practically an all-in-one-package beach vacation. Also convenient: the condo is less than 1.5 miles from the Sand Fiddler and Shipwreck Sally's, the area's two best diners--so beach-bum breakfasts and lunches are easy. We only stayed one night, so unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of the full "gourmet experience." We hope to do so in the future! At this price point, it's a terrific deal!

Balcony picnic fare for Saturday.
To accompany the absolutely perfect weather, our guests will enjoy Parmesan Grilled Asparagus, Chilled Artichoke and Crab Dip with crostinis, Chicken and Mushroom casserole and Fresh Fruit with a Coconut Lime Dipping Sauce. WIll go exceptionally well with our guests sparkling beverage choices.

Chefs Note: pretty sure they will enjoy their table for two!

"Savory and Asian" flavors. Chef Michael selected White Beech mushrooms, Japanese Eggplants, Flowering Baby Leeks, Whole Wheat and Rice Vermicelli Linguini, Spicy Tofu, Aged Rice Vinegar and Sauces - Siracha, Ponzu, Anchovy and Barbeque Duck
