Excited to see this award winning documentary film The Norfolk Library.

“They Fight with Camera”, narrated by Liev Schreiber, is an hour-long documentary produced and directed by Academy Award nominee Nina Rosenblum and produced, co-directed and written by Daniel Allentuck.
The film recounts the wartime experiences of highly decorated U.S. Army Signal Corps combat cameraman Walter Rosenblum by combining his photographs, never before seen motion picture footage and his recently discovered letters to his first wife. From the D-Day landings on Omaha beach to the liberation of Dachau, Rosenblum and his fellow Signal Corps cameramen recorded the war in Europe with skill, empathy and unflinching courage in their fight against Fascism. The film features an on-camera interview with Rosenblum conducted by the USC Shoah Foundation Visual History Archive and an original score composed by Marcus Loeber to present a unique and compelling account of the war in Europe as seen through the lens of a front-line eyewitness. The film has won more than 12 Best Documentary Film awards at festivals here and abroad, and is being distributed internationally by Espresso Media International, UK.
The film will be introduced by Nina Rosenblum and followed by Q&A. Please register for this program through our website.

Melons and prosciutto make a simple and delicious farm fresh salad. Thank you to Bristol's Farm Market for the honeydew and the lovely little yellow melon, which are both so sweet! And thank you to Freund’s Farm Market & Bakery for the perfect cantaloupe.

Another successful PYO at Northern Farm & Flowers! The zinnias are as tall as I am. My favorite weekly “chore” as I get the Inn ready for guests.

August photos! It was a full month with lots of cooking, flowers, music, Megan’s first apartment, Ainsley’s birthday, and lazy days at Doolittle Lake. There’s nothing like a perfect New England summer day and we had lots of them to enjoy.
