Hi - The Long Beach Inn of LBI, NJ (the LBI INN Motel) - is no longer operating for the public. The Township of Long Beach (NJ) purchased the property in April and is refurbishing it to provide seasonal housing for Township and other summer employees. The Powitz Family thanks everyone for 48 years of patronage (The Park Haven Motel opened in 1972 and became the Long Beach Inn in 2004). I truly believe from my 45 years of spending my summer at the inn on LBI, THAT THIS SEASON IS GOINNG TO BE WEATHER FREINDLY, just so everyone knows we have totally recovered from storm sandy! Our beaches are in great shape and it is business as usual! Don't shy away from the jersey shore. Thanks for everyone's support last year during a really tough situation. I. Looking forward to the upcoming season :-)
