The history of Cranmore Mountain Lodge dates all the way back to the mid-1800s. The inn was known as the Bybrook Lodge through the 1930s before it was eventually purchased by Richard W. Flanders married Julia Ruth (Babe Ruth’s daughter) in 1940, which was the same year he renamed the inn to the Cranmore Mountain Lodge. She will do everything she can to ensure that you feel truly welcome and comfortable from the moment you step through our front doors.
