this is the guest book for our lake house rental

backstory - my husband and I are airbnb hosts for our first ever investment property that we fully remodeled & are now offering short term rentals on airbnb

our guest book has started to collect some little marks. a wine glass stain, a few water spots, the kind of wear that comes from being opened again and again. at first when I noticed the imperfections, I got a little upset/frustrated.. but then I realized what a gift it is that this book is actually being used. that behind every mark is another stay, another story, another memory made here. we’ve already welcomed over a dozen guests who left us five star reviews, and that feeling is absolutely priceless.. our home isn’t just staged and polished, it’s being lived in and loved on, just as we intended for it ❤️‍🩹

this bathroom has come such a long way.. we rebuilt the walls to be more structurally sound & gave the whole space some new life 🤭 now it’s giving beachy modern with fresh tiles, gold fixtures, wainscoating in “sea salt,” and a brand new vanity light wood vanity!!!

worth every bit of dust from the demo? we think so (even though we didn’t at the time 🥲😂)

small space, big vision, total transformation 👏🏼

this tiny bathroom went from feeling like a closet to a little spa like sanctuary!!! with the help of , this bathroom is proof that small spaces can still hold big designs 🤍✨
