Family Fun Day is Sunday, August 23!
Join us Sunday, August 23, from 12:30–3:30 pm at Bravo Zulu Lakeside Bar for an afternoon of food, fun, and community, all in support of the North Hero Volunteer Fire Department. Bring the kids down to the lake for an afternoon with the trucks — they'll get to climb aboard real fire trucks, meet the firefighters who protect our community, and thank them in person. Every child will go home with a souvenir.
North Hero's firefighters are in the middle of building a brand new fire station. Their old building, shared with the town's public works department for more than 50 years, had become too small and outdated for the vehicles that today's fire crews rely on. Construction is underway now, with a move-in targeted for this fall.
North Hero's fire department provides critical, life-saving emergency response to our community, and every one of them does it as a volunteer, saving local taxpayers dollars in the process.
For the past several years, Shore Acres has supported NHVFD through our First Responders Table program. And even if you can't make it on Sunday, you can book the table any time to help support them. Call us at (802) 372-8722 to reserve.
