If your ideal fall getaway involves Vermont foliage, a 200-year-old inn, dirt roads, crisp nights, and a room that may or may not be haunted… we should probably talk. 🍂👻

Room 4 is back.

After being unavailable for months, it’s been completely refreshed and is officially open for booking—just in time for leaf-peeping and spooky season in southern Vermont. It’s got sleeping space for up to two brave souls, so you can bring a friend or partner along too.

And yes, there have been “reports” of paranormal activity in Room 4 over the years.

We’ve never seen anything ourselves.

Meet VildaHaus.

Our restaurant at The Landgrove has a new name — VildaHaus at The Landgrove.

Why the change? For years, the restaurant has simply been part of the inn. We love that connection, but it also creates a modern problem: if you’re searching online for a great place to eat in Southern Vermont, it isn’t always obvious that there’s a restaurant here at all.

We want to make it easier for people to find us, discover what’s happening in our kitchen, and know that you don’t have to be staying at the inn to come for dinner.

But there’s another reason, too: the restaurant deserves an identity of its own.

VildaHaus combines Vilda (“wild”) with Haus (“house”) — a name that fits what we want this place to be: a little adventurous, welcoming, creative, and unmistakably at home here in Landgrove.

The name is new. The place isn’t. We’re still right here at The Landgrove, welcoming neighbors, travelers, artists, and anyone willing to venture a little ways down a dirt road for a good meal.

“The Landgrove Inn is the sort of place that is a joy to visit. The location is excellent being near places such as Weston, VT and several popular ski areas. The inn is spotless and the staff is absolutely the friendliest on the planet. The rooms vary in size and style, as is expected in an inn. Ours was very comfortable, quiet, and a very good value.

The restaurant is excellent. I cannot stress that more. Oh, my, and breakfast scones!

Who wants scones? Chef Jenn is going to make up to 60 extra lemon blueberry scones this Saturday.

Available for pickup on Saturday, 10 am to 12 noon.

Must pre-order with a DM to The Landgrove or email [email protected] by Friday at 5pm.

PRICING (tax included):

4 for $15
10 for $30

If this is something people like, we’d be excited to continue and to provide an array of flavors… as well as homemade bagels (also array of flavors).
