Calling all sea turtle lovers!
As many of you know, we had a very successful sea turtle season this year. Of the 423 nests, there were an estimated total of 47671 eggs and 37,826 hatched eggs, giving a 79.2% hatch success! We’d like to thank the team at Sea Turtle Patrol Hilton Head Island for their hard work this season and ensuring the safety of these animals.
With that being said, we are now asking for your help! Sea Turtle Patrol currently has a holiday fundraiser going on. From now until December 5th give the unique gift of a Nest Dedication!
That special someone will receive a certificate with their nest number, a special keepsake Sea Turtle Patrol ornament, and updates of the patrol activities on the beach.
