Today feels like the perfect day to share how much this special place 🐬 and all of you 🐚 mean to us. The Islander has always been more than a vacation destination… it’s a place filled with memories, traditions, friendships, and love.

We want you to know that we are moving forward. There is a tremendous amount happening behind the scenes right now 👷‍♂️ contractors, engineers, suppliers, design discussions, planning, and coordination 🔨 all focused on bringing The Islander back to life.

While progress may not always be visible day to day, many dedicated people are working hard every single day to rebuild something even stronger for the future.

🏖️ We're thrilled to share that we were featured on the news for receiving historic-designation status — a major win for all of us!

This designation opens up new possibilities for repairing, preservation and protection plus a 10- year ad valorem tax exemption for the Islander — ensuring our little piece of paradise stays strong for generations to come.
