Who’s ready to hit the slopes?! To be honest – we didn’t think we’d be coming at you with this info so soon, but we can’t say we’re upset about it! Gore Mountain will be opening for the weekend on Friday, November 15th! Our snowmakers put in some hard work and long hours over the past couple of nights. With another night of snowmaking tonight, we’ll have Tahawus ready for some early season turns tomorrow.

Opening Day November 15th, 2024 – Season Passholders Only
As a huge thank you for being a loyal Gore Season Passholder – we are opening up the mountain for just you on Friday, November 15th. Come join us and your fellow pass holders for some early season turns here at your favorite mountain.

Open For Everyone – Saturday and Sunday, November 16th and 17th
On Saturday and Sunday, Gore will be open for all to enjoy with discounted lift tickets of $44 available for purchase. So grab your gear and plan a last-minute trip to Gore for some of the earliest skiing available in New York state. Tickets are available in person only. Frequent Skier Card discounts will not be valid this weekend.

This weekend, we will be skiing and riding on Tahawus for advanced skiers/riders only. Guests will ride the Adirondack Express II lift, where they can access Tahawus and the North Quad before riding the Adirondack Express lift back down.

Our retail and rental shop will be open and there will be food offerings available in the base lodge. Saddle Lodge will be open for restrooms only. Lift hours will be 9 am - 3:30 pm.

The mountain will close after Sunday, and we will announce reopening plans as soon as possible. So, keep thinking of snow!
