Rose Apple Acres Farm Welcome to our bed and breakfast full of whimsy, culture, breakfasts of homemade baked goods and more Located at 721 East Hill, North Troy, Vermont.

We're 15 minutes from Jay Peak Resort, 2-3 miles from the closest Canadian border crossing (half an hour from the Derby Line, VT Canadian Border Crossing which is a good route to and from Montreal and Sherbrooke), and 20 minutes to Lake Memphremagog and Newport, VT.

We have BnB guests coming soon to celebrate the mother's 90th birthday (and her dearest friend's 90th birthday too!). We want to offer breakfast options that are special and memorable for such an occasion! This is one recipe Tanya created yesterday, and it was a winner! Spruce tip and rosemary roasted potatoes! We think that would be a worthy offering.

Here are reviews of past "Basics of Writing Children's Books" workshops held here at Rose Apple Acres Farm BnB - lead by resident author Tanya Sousa! The next one will be Sunday, June 14th, 10-3 with lunch included. The flyer is in the comments. Neighbor, friend and sometimes customer, Peggy Loux, recently commented she’d volunteer to be a taste tester for new breakfast recipes we’re trying while we are closed for the month of May. We took her up on that yesterday! She tried a slice of the gluten and sugar free lemon pound cake and a slice of the nettle-dandelion pound cake. Her findings? She asked for a second piece of the nettle-dandelion (a clear thumbs up!) and said the lemon pound cake would make great French toast (an approval with amendment!). Thanks for your hard work and discerning taste buds, Pegster! 🥰. Tanya will bake and freeze some to share with guests in June.

We’re closed for the month of May, but that doesn’t mean we’re not busy! We’re baking and freezing seasonal yummies, experimenting with new recipes and creating and planning. Pictured is a dandelion and nettle cake from a recipe Tanya has wanted to try for 2 years, and apple napkin rings that Tanya’s brother in law made from wood and Courtney painted. They are very appropriate for Rose Apple Acres Farm Bed and Breakfast! 😃🥰. There are a set of six.
