Rainy days on the Cape sometimes call for curling up with a good book.

If weather is putting a damper on a beach day sometimes it’s nice to continue to chill with a book at home watching the rain. Swipe right for some of my favorites so far this summer!

When people visit Truro they tend to be very loyal to their favorite beaches! With so many great options to choose from we can see why.

Our favorite ocean beach will always be Longnook but Ballston (pictured here) is a close second, if the large Longnook dune is to much. When it comes to bayside and sunset we love to spend some our time at Corn Hill!

If you could pick one beach to spend the day at in Truro which one would it be?

Our first stop on every trip is to our favorite market The Truro General Store (Formerly Jams) they have all the essentials from the best pre-made beach sandwiches to my staple the freshly baked French bread that pairs perfectly with there homemade Tarragon Chicken Salad!

Add a hibiscus iced tea and a chocolate croissant and there is no better way to start the day. If you’ve been what are your favorite TGS treats?

Nothing like Sunday Funday when you don’t have to work on Monday 🤩

Cloudy days are our favorite to spend walking around Ptown and we love a trip to Canteen for some cocktails and a snack. The back deck is a hidden gem along the water and they make a delicious Aperol Spritz - paired perfectly with a cup of chowder its one of our favorites on the Cape - unfortunately my husband devoured it too quickly for me to get a pic.

Best part is it’s super family friendly - which is why it tops our list for an afternoon aperitif - Cin Cin 🥂

Nothing brightens a grey day on the Cape more than a beautiful bouquet of locally grown stems from .bouquets - there’s nothing I love more than adding some fresh flowers to our space and I love that Honey Bee delivers right here in Truro 💐
