The first North Atlantic right whale calf of the new calving season was spotted last week near the harbor in Charleston, South Carolina.

April 1 usually marks the time (or close to it) that we open each year for the new, and eagerly awaited, season. Unfortunately, our opening this year is indefinitely postponed due to the coronavirus national health emergency.

As soon as we know more about what we can do and when, we will post that here. In the meantime, our thoughts are with everyone - including those of you who share this beautiful space with us from time to time - for your safety and health. Stay home. Stay safe. The time to return to the Cape will come.
