Hydrofest speed boats and NJ Firemen/s Convention this weekend and Irish Festival and Classic Car show next weekend. Last big weekends of the summer. Irish Festival is a large community festival and party celebrating Irish heritage and fun for all. Classic car show runs the length of the boardwalk and is Awesome! You find yourself saying "I remember when...." or "I wish I had the money I would...."

Reconnected with some old friends this past week and had some good laughs talking about good times from the past. Thanks! Thought about some things I haven't in a long time. Good stuff.

The July Beach Blast started out great with teams from the Douglassville, Pa area making their mark. Beaches could not handle some late night rain so never got to crown a Champ. Did not stop the kids and families from having a great time on the beach, boards and pool at the Surf Motel. Since when does sand not absorb water???

Congrats! To the Quakertown girls soccer team for taking first place in the 2014 June Beach Blast tournament. Way to go girls!

Another outstanding weekend at the Surf! Beach Blast soccer tourny was fun for all. Lots of sun, food, good conversation and fellowship. Thanks to Mike and all as the food was great! The "playoffs" on the Wholly Board seemed to go into extra innings well after dinner. Who really won? Good Times at the shore!
