I love how the perennials are coming in this year. We've just lost our dear neighbor, who told me about the gardens the longtime previous owner of the lodge, Warren Priest, grew here back in the 70s and 80s. She was a talented gardener herself and tended her flower beds up until weeks before she died at age 96. She and Warren used to exchange plants. I will always think of her when I'm looking at these flowers. ❤️

Folks, we have SO MUCH SNOW this season and it's holding fast. Cannon Mountain has all 97 trails open right now! We have some weekends in March & early April available for rent. And our hot tub is open and ready for star watching. Come check it out!

This snow and weather is glorious!

I love how the plantings have filled out by the hot tub. The first picture was taken a few weeks ago, September 28. Some of the grasses had started to turn, but it still looked lush. The second was taken in 2022 when we first put everything in and all I could see was dirt and insulation.
