t is located just outside of the Chippewa National Forest on beautiful Island Lake in Northern Minnesota. Island Lake is a 3,089 acre lake located just off State Hwy. 46 near Northome, Minnesota, in Itasca County. Island Lake is a top tier structured fishing lake producing large numbers of walleye, northern, bass, crappie, sunfish, and perch. The maximum depth of the lake is 35 ft. In addition to the excellent fishing on Island Lake, there is a wide variety of activities in the area to satisfy vacationing interests of all ages. Our season opens in May and continues through MN rifle deer season.

🕒 **Office Hours Update**
We are adjusting our office hours to better balance resort life with our family time. Running a "mom and pop" business means we’re often wearing many hats—from managing the grounds to being parents to our young daughter.

To make sure we can give our best to both our guests and our family, our new official office hours are shown here and posted on our office door.

Need us outside of these hours?
Don’t worry! While the office door might be closed for "life things" like school runs or family dinners, we are always available by phone.
