The Lodge at Carlson’s Canyon Ranch is set on a hillside overlooking the dramatic limestone cliffs of Trombetta Canyon, five-mile creek, and wetland areas. This is a truly unique location, both for the view and for the local flora; Washington state recently set aside over 1000 acres adjoining our property as state preserve (Trombetta Canyon Natural Area Preserve) recognizing the unique limestone e

cosystem and three plant species that only occur here in Washington state. The backdrop to the canyon is Silvercrown mountain, easily accessible from the lodge. A short half-mile hike up the mountain is our secluded lake and stunning views overlooking the Columbia river and the town of Northport. At the lake, you can visit the Pioneer cabin, which we built using no power tools. Every month, we host school children at the lake to teach them outdoor skills through our non-profit organization Silvercrown Mountain Outdoor School.
