I know I just disappeared. Right now I'm overwhelmed by life's circumstances. I haven't had time for postcards. On top of it, the Instagram algorithms made it so very few of my amazing followers would even see my posts. I hope to get back in the groove by the fall, but I can't do shows right now.

I think I'll be able to get back to everybody who would like things over the summer. I know I have the best followers and I follow some amazing people and small businesses. I miss you all. I just need a little time.

Hope everyone is well. I miss interacting with you and hope you'll forgive me.

This is where you'll find me this Saturday! I'm excited to return to this show! Check the map on the back because the GPS sometimes gets confused and if you're nearby you won't want to miss this free show! I'll probably just have room for postcards and not ephemera, but I'll pack in as much as I have room for! Also, there will be a sale on something, but you have to wait to find out what it is!

I hope to see some of you there!

I never got around to taking pictures or checking into the postcard show since I was busy, trying to find some cards that were new arrivals, and pay attention to customers.
I did buy a few postcards from other dealers, but it was this purchase that I'm proudest of. It was printed in 1958 and is in tough shape. I hope to find someone who can tell me more about it. I think in the end that it'll find a great home.

I think today this means more

This is Day 3 of Lighthouses and now we're off to Gibbs Hill, Cross Bay, Bermuda. This is a cast iron lighthouse built in 1844, began work in 1846. There aren't many made of cast iron. The light can be seen by ships up to 40 miles (64 km) away! I don't think those flags are there anymore.
Gibbs Hill Lighthouse has recently been refurbished. Lighthouses are such a part of our history and we should always try to save them!
I've got some more lighthouse postcards to process and I've tagged all lighthouse postcards with blue stickers so you can find them easy at shows. Only a few locations such as Maine, Massachusetts and England have lighthouse sections.
I need to get ready for the show. I've been with grandkids so I've got to switch gears fast here!

Another Day and Another Lighthouse. This is the Happsburgh Lighthouse in England. I love the red and white stripes. This lighthouse was saved, luckily. It's on the coast of the North Sea; it was built to help save ships and lives.
I'm exhausted again. But I'll put up a flyer for my next show and/or another lighthouse - I promise!

This is where you find me Sunday! Rhode Island Post Card Club Show in.the new location. I'm excited to be part of this show as last year i.was unable to make it. All the info is in the pictures. I'm going to sleep now - lots of miles to drive tomorrow! Hope to see some of you there!

My latest theme is Lighthouses. I'm visiting the grandkids and brought what I thought was a box full of new cards to process for the show in Rhode Island in a week, but instead I had a smile pile of recent acquisitions in a box full of cards that just needed putting back into their proper boxes. Oops!

This is Cape Lookout Lighthouse which us part of the Cape Lookout National Seashore. I love the view here and chose it over some close-ups of others, 2 of which I'll be posting here within the next few days, along with the next show flyer which I did remember to bring. (I think.) I've got to get to sleep - grandchildren can be tiring!

I know I haven't posted much lately, but o still have love for the IG community. So enjoy this Keith Haring (1958-1990) postcard, Untitled, 1981, Marker Ink on Board. RIP Keith Haring. You died too young and left too much art unmade.

I'm getting close to the end of the cards that I had taken pictures ahead of time. This was for Labor Day - People at Work. The first is a Stonecutter in Bermuda, the next is Sugar Cane Grinding on the Pitcairn Islands which is a Group effort. The last is a Shoemaker, but I didn't get a picture of the back of the card. Next time I find the card I'll add that in a comment
I hope you're enjoying my shortened descriptions and multi postcard posts. The next one will be in a day or two!
