On Oct. 5th, 2026, Nutley hosted her signature candle light Master Mason degree. Under the direction of Worshipful Master Nicholas Luciano, the ritual was superb, with many highlights, including the Working Tools by Br. Joe Cultrara, the Charge by Br. Edwin Dimayuga, the Lecture by W.B. Eugene Fucetola, King Solomon by W.B. Will Sikora III and the Canadian Charge by Br. Idris Ferguson. Over 50 Brothers attended and we welcomed two new Master Masons into our Fraternity.

On Monday, September 21st, Nutley celebrated 50 years of Br. Edward Honchen as a Right Worshipful member of Grand Lodge. He was appointed as the 8th district's Grand Chaplain in 1976. He 53 years a Past Master and 63 years a Mason.

On September 23rd, Br. Joe Cultrara chaired our annual Flea Market. It was an interactive community event and a wonderful time was had by all. R.W. Rowland Francis held a Grand Lodge Child ID event and several Brothers spent the day helping to make this year a great success!

33 year member, Brother George Heflich, Sr. received the 'Fireman of the year award' from the Secaucus Knights of Columbus on August 16th. Br. Heflich has officially been a a fireman for 66 years, and has been Captain, Chief, Town Inspector and President of the State's Firemen Assn., among his many positions. He also has donated over 25 gallons of blood. Br. Heflich will be 89 on September 16th. Congratulations Br. George! (He is pictured at bottom with his son, R.W. George Heflich, Jr. and his twin brother, John Heflich.
