⚠️ Planned Power Outage – Oacoma Area ⚠️

West Central will have a planned power outage on Monday, August 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for members in the Oacoma area highlighted in red on the attached map.

This outage is necessary so our crews can move electric lines back to their permanent location after they were temporarily rerouted during the South Dakota DOT culvert project at Highway 16 and I-90.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this work to restore our system to its normal configuration. Thank you for your cooperation!

The rain has overwhelmed the septic systems. Please try to hold your tanks and not release them into the septics. We are working on getting a pump truck out there as soon as we can. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We had some high winds and heavy rain come through today. The winds pushed some stuff around and tipped some chairs, tables, etc. The ground is pretty saturated so please try not to park on the grass.

You may want to check your camper for damage.
