Sweet Chariot is located in the heart of the Gingerbread Cottages in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. We are a short walk to the harbor, the Tabernacle, the beach and the center of town.

Currently, Sweet Chariot is in the process of being updated, from new paint to new appliances, with a focus on maintaining the charm and historic look and feel of a campground cottage.

Starting next summer (depending on the coronavirus), Sweet Chariot will be available on a limited basis for short stays (most less than a week) for family, friends and friends of friends. See below for upcoming available dates.

The cottage is located on the MVCMA - Martha's Vineyard Camp Meeting Association grounds. There are lots of family-friendly activities here all summer long. You will need to know the rules (see link below) of the MVCMA Campgrounds, including quiet times and neighborly respect. Only non-smokers will be welcome to stay.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 3 people, with a full bed and a twin bed. Also, an inside shower and outside shower, as well as upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Washer/drier and dishwasher.

I maintain a gluten-free kitchen, but you are welcome to have gluten (wheat, etc.) while you are here, just take it all with you when you leave. :-)

Sadly, pets are not allowed.

June 11 through 14 (Thursday through Sunday)
July 20 through 25 (Monday through Saturday) Children's Festival!
August 11 through 16 (Tuesday through Sunday) ILLUMINATION week!
