A one and a half story campground house built in 1871 at No. 24 Rustic Ave. By 1874 the house was moved to Lake Ave.

Not much has changed along the harbor front in Oak Bluffs in the last 120 years.
The outside of The Attleboro House is still the same but the interior has been completely renovated and modernized.

Magic Lemon Pie, anyone?

At one time The Attleboro House served three meals a day.
There was a large dining room, filled with tables and chairs.
Guests were served by the family and a few young people that worked there.

The Attleboro House has been The Attleboro House since 1871 and as long as the house remains in the family it will always be called The Attleboro House.
Although there were times is was called The Attleborough House.
