# A Friendly Reminder to Our Campground Family

Over the years, our campground has become much more than just a place to camp. For many of us, it's a second home where neighbors become friends and families make memories together.

Lately, however, we've received a growing number of concerns about excessive speed on golf carts and other vehicles throughout the campground.

The posted speed limit is **5 MPH**, and it exists for one reason—**everyone's safety**. Children, walkers, bicyclists, pets, and fellow campers all share these roads. Driving too fast also creates unnecessary dust, especially during dry weather, making it unpleasant for everyone nearby.

We know that the vast majority of our campers already respect the rules, and we truly appreciate it. Unfortunately, it only takes a few people ignoring them to create problems for everyone else.

We don't want to install speed bumps. We don't want to increase enforcement. And we certainly don't want to ask anyone to leave because they refuse to follow campground rules.

Our hope is that none of those steps become necessary.

Please help us keep the campground the friendly, respectful community it has been for so many years by:

* Driving no faster than **5 MPH** at all times.
* Reminding family members and guests to do the same.
* Showing courtesy and respect to your fellow campers.

Let's work together to keep our campground safe, enjoyable, and welcoming for everyone.

Thanks to Brian and Chris Kwapich again for an epic poker run. Old and new friends joined in for the fun games prizes snacks beverage specials. Shaun Martin won the poker hand and bunches of prizes. Jackie Jacoby excelled with worst poker hand and lots of prizes. Even Dolly Parton scored down with a prizes for best stop, thanks Joni Henderson
