HIGHS ONLY IN THE 40S EXPECTED FOR BRIDGE DAY 2026…

Those planning to attend Bridge Day in Fayette County on Saturday, October 17, should prepare for chilly conditions.

Temperatures in Fayetteville are expected to remain in the mid-to-upper 40s throughout the event, with a high of just 48 degrees.

Winds could make it feel even colder, especially on the New River Gorge Bridge.

Rain is possible early Saturday morning, but conditions are expected to improve, with some sunshine possible during the afternoon.

Bridge Day runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to dress warmly and wear layers.
