Here is a fun list of events for our guests for OKI's Beach Day- July 1, 2025 from Town of Oak Island

From the Town of Oak Island regarding fireworks:

The Town of Oak Island hosts a fireworks display each year on July 1 to celebrate the Town's founding, called "Beach Day" - which you can learn more about at OakIslandNC.gov/BeachDay --

For activities on July 4th itself, our neighboring City of Southport NC will host fireworks through the NC 4th of July Festival.

Most importantly, non-permitted aerial fireworks are PROHIBITED by the state of NC.

The Oak Island Police Department will be publishing reminders on this.
