Hi all, we added a large lounge chair that my wife calls the "mommy and me" chair to the beach side deck of Southern Sol for the 2026 season. It is a great spot to relax, maybe take a nap, and take in the view.

The updated bedroom pictures are up on the Rudd Southern Sol web site for the 2026 season. We added wainscoting, a new pine tongue and groove ceiling, new ceiling fans, all new trim, new window roller shades, new closet doors and a fresh paint on all surfaces. New pictures with all of the updates will be posted in early April.

The off season renovation plans for 2026 are to update all 4 bedrooms. We will be installing tongue and groove ceilings and board and batten wainscoting in all of the bedrooms similar to what is shown below in the images. Finally new paint, replace the ceiling fans and updated bedding in each room.

For all the grill masters out there, if the propane tank is empty you can call the property manager, Margaret Rudd, and they will pick up the tank, have it refilled and returned so you can continue grilling.
