Sunset Haven is our family vacation location most of the year but we open the rental calendar for 10 weeks in the summer for our rental guests so we try to give our guests the same vacation experience that we have. 1. Building 100, as seen in the photo, is at the quieter end of the OIBV complex.
2. No public parking or accesses close by so the beach is not as crowded.
3. There are more turtle nesting spots on Caswell Beach giving you greater odds of seeing a "boil" from a nest during your visit.
4. The wood access deck has fewer steps than other OIBV accesses making it easier for little ones (and oldsters) to manage.
5. Right across the road from Oak Island Golf Club which offers 18 challenging holes of TifEagle greens as well as Duffers Pub and Grill.
