Please help Safari. He has only ONE WEEK to find a committed foster who will follow his training instructions.

Safari has already endured more rejection and heartbreak than any dog should.

He lived his entire life chained outside. He nearly froze to death. He was finally saved and accepted by a rescue, only for that rescue to dump him because they did not believe anyone would foster him after training.

Sadly, the stigma they feared is holding true. Safari has done better in training than anyone could have dreamed, yet not one committed foster has stepped forward to give him a chance.

I drove an hour to see him last week. He was so happy to see me and tried desperately to get into my car. It was the same car that once carried him away from a miserable life on a chain, but this time I could not let him get inside. Leaving him behind broke my heart.

Safari has worked incredibly hard. He is housebroken, does perfectly in his crate and is wonderful with my teenager. He needs a committed foster near Charlotte, NC, with no dogs or one calm dog. He cannot live with cats. His foster must be willing to follow the instructions provided by his trainer so he can continue succeeding.

His trainer has done an absolutely amazing job with him. You truly have no idea how far this dog has come:

Safari survived the chain. He survived the freezing cold. He survived being abandoned by the rescue that promised to help him. He has exceeded every expectation in training.

After everything he has overcome, will nobody give him the one thing he has never had, a safe and committed home?

He has only one week. Please do not let his story end because no one was willing to give him a chance.

Please help Safari.

I drove an hour to see him today. He was so happy to see me, and he tried so hard to get into my car. It was the same car that drove him away from a life on a chain, but today, I couldn’t let him get in. It broke my heart.

Safari is doing unbelievably well in training. His progress has been incredible, but he still desperately needs:

A rescue
A foster home with no dogs or one calm dog
A home near Charlotte, NC
Funds to purchase the e-collar needed to continue his training

Safari is housebroken, did perfectly in his crate, and is great with my teenager. He should not live with cats.

He has worked so hard and come so far. Please don’t let his story end here. He just needs someone willing to give him the chance he has always deserved.

URGENT, SAFARI IS RUNNING OUT OF TIME!

Since January, I have been fighting to save three dogs. One found a forever home. One is safe and doing well in foster. But poor Safari still desperately needs a foster, and we are almost out of time.

Safari’s rescue told us we had to choose between keeping him in the rescue or giving him the professional training we knew he desperately needed. We chose to believe in Safari and give him that chance.

He has done INCREDIBLY well in training, but now he has no rescue backing him and nowhere appropriate to go when his training ends. If he returns to his former foster, she will not be able to continue working with him, and we are terrified he will lose everything he has worked so hard to learn.

My own life is a disaster right now, and I am traveling nonstop, but I have not stopped begging for this dog. I have begged and begged and begged, and I genuinely do not know what else to do.

Safari lived his entire life chained outside. He was rescued before he froze to death. People have promised to help him again and again, yet he is still stuck in limbo, waiting for someone to finally choose him.

He is only about two years old. While he was with me, he was housebroken, great in his crate and good on a leash. His biggest challenge was reactivity toward other dogs, but he has made unbelievable progress in training. His trainers are extremely impressed with him.

Safari could do well in a calm home with an experienced, dog savvy foster who can follow his training and carefully manage any introductions. A home without other animals would also be wonderful.

Safari needs a foster in 2 weeks, or he runs out of options.

Safari spent his entire life chained up, since he was a puppy. He and his parents were found like this, days from freezing to death.

He was never socialized. He never ran free. He never felt grass under his feet instead of dirt. He didn't know what a toy was. He didn't know what human love felt like. He didn't even know how to be a dog.

We asked his rescue to let him work with a trainer, just to give him a chance. They told us if we did that, they'd give up on him.
We did it anyway.

And Safari has done better than we ever could have hoped. Trainers are impressed by him. He's surrounded by other dogs now and holding his own. He is proof that it is never too late for a dog like him.

But that rescue is gone now, and Safari has nowhere to go.
What he needs is a foster who is experienced, patient, and willing to do slow, careful introductions, ideally a calm resident dog or a no dog household. Someone who can give him the same chance we did.

Please read.

I came here planning to beg for help for her, the usual pledges, a foster, and a rescue. From the moment I saw her picture, I knew I was going to do everything I could to save her.

But I couldn’t.

She suffered a horrific death. I will not share the heartbreaking details as I can not "unsee" what I was told occured, but it appears someone may have performed a C-section on her and then dumped her like she meant nothing.

She was found approximately 45 minutes to an hour from Charlotte. If you recognize her or have ever seen her, please contact me. She had a life before this, and someone knows who she belonged to and what happened to her.

I am devastated.

Please remember that I am simply one person who loves dogs and uses my business and resources to save as many as I can. I am not a shelter, a rescue, or a veterinarian. I just try to help however I can.

This time, I wasn’t able to help her at all, and that is something I will carry with me, as I do with all the dogs I had a commitment to save but I didn’t. I remember all of them from the one in Columbia SC to the one in Miami FL, I don’t forget that I didn’t help them as I promised.

Safari was promised a happy ever after but he has been failed time and time again.

Owner kept him chained since he was a little puppy.

Foster whose commitment was limited to social media gain.

Rescue that dumped him because they refused to let him go to training.

The worst part I’m not even sharing…

Now, Safari is doing amazing in training but has nowhere to go in 3 weeks 😞

I keep begging for help to market him but nothing.

I need help putting flyers up and boosting his.

Safari is absolutely doing more than I could have dreamed of and I have nothing lined up for him! To give him this training now he has no rescue!
