Firefall season begins. 🔥

When snowmelt and the setting sun line up just right, Horsetail Fall briefly turns to molten light against El Capitan.

With winter storms on the way, conditions could come together — if the light breaks through at sunset. No reservations are required this year, which likely means it may be a bit of a zoo… but when it hits, it’s still one of the most unforgettable sights in Yosemite — or anywhere.
