ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Prepares food needed in the hotel to meet high-quality food standards.
* Prepares food from menus and food recipes as required.
* Ensures production areas are stocked for efficient daily operations.
* Set up, replenish, and maintain food preparation areas while adhering to recipes that include specific knife cuts and correct cooking procedures.
* Cooks meals according to ticket specifications, according to individual tickets.
* Displays knowledge of sanitary food handling procedures and complies with them.
* Maintains a clean and organized work area using soap and a sanitizing agent.
* Properly maintains food temperature, staying out of the danger zone of 40 to 150 degrees.
* The supervisor may assign you, in addition, other duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements represent both knowledge and skills required for the job.

* Must possess a basic understanding of food preparation and food presentation standards.
* Ability to convert units of measure as directed by recipes.
* Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram instructions.
* Effective communication with other members of the team.
* Excellent skills in organization
* Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English.
* Reading and interpreting recipes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals are essential skills.
* Ability to interpret instructions in a variety of formats given orally, in writing, or by diagram or schedule.
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. Formal culinary training or degree in culinary arts or Hotel restaurant management preferred. One-year prior culinary experience is preferred. Serve-save certification is preferred.

We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities

Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
Manage online and phone reservations
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Skills

Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role
Experience with hotel reservations software, such as MEWS is a plus
Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com, Expedia and TripAdvisor
Customer service attitude

As a Guest Room Attendant, your contribution helps ensure guests an enjoyable and comfortable stay. We are looking for someone who is driven.

Responsibilities:

Clean, dust, polish and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day, before your shift ends each day.
Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.

Fundamentals
To be successful in this role, you need basic English communication skills, bi-lingual is a plus. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
