Yosemite entry, simplified.

For non US residents, Yosemite National Park offers two entrance options, the America the Beautiful Annual Pass or a one time entrance pass valid for seven days. The right choice depends on group size, travel frequency, and how streamlined you want your arrival to be.

Digital passes are strongly recommended. Yosemite entrances can be busy during peak periods and cash is not accepted at the gates.

You will not need a reservation to drive into Yosemite in 2026. This allows more flexibility for visitors while we continue to manage traffic and support safe, enjoyable experiences for all.

Pro tips:
- Visit on weekdays, when there are fewer people and parking is easier.
- Explore other areas of the park beyond Yosemite Valley

Planning to visit National Parks in 2026? For international visitors, please be aware that a non-resident entrance pass will be required. Yosemite 2025 Reservations

Yosemite National Park announces reservations requirements for some days in 2025. Reservations will become available on Tuesday, May 6, at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on Recreation.Gov.

May 24 through 26 (Memorial Day Weekend): A reservation is required from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

June 15 through August 15: A reservation is required from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM every day.

August 30 through September 1 (Labor Day Weekend): A reservation is required from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Planning to visit Yosemite National Park between Apr 13 - Oct 27, 2024? If so, in addition to the usual Yosemite 1 week pass, All Federal Lands annual pass, or Lifetime pass (aquirable at the park entrances) with matching photo ID, visitors will also need a "Peak-Hours Plus" park entry reservation between 5am to 4pm daily, aqurirable in advance online ONLY through Recreation.gov.
