Hope you all had a tremendous Thanksgiving!! We got after it up at Otter Lake House, in Nevada City, CA

1. Took in the fall colors
2. Cooked a turkey
3. Took a great hike
4. Had a soak
5. Grabbed some incredible sushi
6. Parked our bikes
7. Created a centerpiece
8. Took a deep breath before cleaning up a holiday meal…

You know that when the poison oak turns a lovely shade of red that Fall is here and the Holidays will be soon upon us. The twin cities of Nevada City and Grass Valley each have a fantastic annual Holliday festival and we’d love to have you as our guest!

Nevada City’s Cornish Christmas festival will be Sundays Dec 5, 12, and 19 from 1:30 pm to 6; and Wednesdays Dec 8 and 15 from 5 to 9 pm. The event features a craft fair, food, drink, and Santa!

Grass Valley’s own Cornish Christmas kicks off with the tree lighting ceremony on Friday Nov 26, and continues on the following Fridays Dec 3, 10, and 17 from 6pm to 9pm.

Both events feature people dressed in period costume, lots of crafts, holiday gifts, and tons of local charm.
