A beautiful vacation house with a lake view and a private mountainside setting. At Little Branch Lodge, there are three King Master Suites and a bunk bed room with two sets of bunks, and each room has a private bathroom. Home includes: rec room, brandname furniture, new hot tub, new appliances, a private deck, gas fireplaces, smart tvs, pool table, ping-pong table tennis, and driveway parking for
four cars. Walkable dock and overnight boat slip rentals located the bottom of the driveway. We designed this home to be a great spot to come back to after an exciting day outside. Comfort, quality, and relaxation are all things we considered as we chose the furniture, activities, decor, and amenities. This house is central to four seasons of activities at Deep Creek Lake. As longtime visitors to the lake, we enjoy all of the outdoor activities and scenery. Here are just a few activities and locations:
Vacationers are 10 minutes from skiing at the Wisp Mountain Resort, hiking/swimming at Deep Creek State Park, or dining at one of the amazing eateries around the lake. Snowshoeing, sledding, and cross-country skiing abound 45 minutes away at Canaan Valley near Davis, WV. Spring, summer, and fall pairs with miles of hiking and intermediate mountain bike trails are within a 10-15 drive at Swallow Tail Falls and Black Fork Run, with many additional state parks and hikes within a 30-40 minute drive. Kayakers and adventurous spirits can take part in the hilltop white water rafting course at Adventure Sports International, or enjoy paddling the lake on a kayak rental at Mountain View Sports. Pontoon boats are great for long days on the water, swimming within different coves or going wake boarding, water skiing, or tubing. Mountain top golf courses are also within a 10 minute drive of Little Branch Lodge. Guests also have membership to a large indoor public pool and fitness center and is included with your stay. Also: arcades, mini-golf, go-karts, ice cream, and other family activities are close by. Because Deep Creek Lake is at a higher elevation and has a unique topographic location, summers are usually 10-15 degrees cooler than Pittsburgh and DC, with few bugs. And winter brings lots of natural snow and cold weather to the mountain and surrounding area, perfect for the Wisp skiing, walleye ice fishing on the lake, snowmobiling, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and snow tubing.
