The summer is coming to an end and my amazing summer staff is heading back to school. Kansas Country Inn is looking for a few reliable part time staff to join our team, hours are for front desk 4pm to 8pm a few days a week and 8am to 4pm Mon, Tues, Wed and maybe a Saturday or Sunday here and there. Kansas Country Inn is a successful, fast growing establishment that is seeking reliable, energetic, friendly, self motivated people to join our team! We are currently hiring front desk for all shifts, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, 4pm to 8pm, 8pm to 8am, 12am to 8am, or even 4am to 8am! We are super flexible, a very family friendly work environment and we need YOU to come join our team!

We are also taking applications for one or two more part time housekeepers or laundry person to even out our already amazing housekeeping/laundry team, this shift runs 9am to no later than 5pm, must be detail oriented and a team player! Our new issue is on its way to subscribers!

As we began discussing a Native edition of KANSAS!, we knew two things. One it was going to be contemporary. And second, to tell authentic stories about Native communities today required Native leadership and oversight. We turned to longtime partner Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence.

We were thankful to collaborate with Haskell's journalism program. Our guest editor for this edition is Jared Nally, a recent graduate of Haskell and outgoing editor of the university's paper Haskell Indian Leader. As well as, Rhonda LeValdo, professor and administrator at Haskell.

It is imperative these stories be told - and discussions are had - but know they are not our narratives to tell. We are deeply grateful to all who participated in this issue. For their openness and sharing their communities with our readers.
