We’ve had a cancellation so August 24 to the 28th is open! It’s been reports of lots of jellyfish at the beach, but there are no jellyfish at our indoor and outdoor pool! 😊 I am at the beach right now and I do still get in the water but I’m in and out and don’t linger in the water right now. It’s still wonderful

We need to give a shout out to The Grove marketplace and restaurant.
I went there last night with two of my cousins and OMG, what an experience. This is not just a dinner. This is truly a wonderful experience. I hope that every person that comes to my condo is able to enjoy this place, but it’s hard to get in. You have to make reservations weeks and sometimes months in advance. You won’t regret it. My only regret is that and letting people know it might be harder for me to get in next time. Treat yourself to something special and visit them.

🌊 OCEAN CITY MEMORIES 🌊

Everyone has that one Ocean City memory they never forget.

Mine is spending time with different family members throughout the years.
My grandmother used to rent a place on the boardwalk for three weeks every year. It was above Candy kitchen on Dorchester street. Now torn down and turned into the only high rise in Downtown Oc. Some of my fondest memories are the different things family members would do to have fun with folks on the boardwalk as we watched from the balcony. It was never bad things of course, just interactions that lead to some funny moments in time.

One of the things that has meant more to me lately is slowing down and appreciating the simple, beautiful moments that are often right around us.

This photo was taken at Assateague Island near Ocean City, Maryland, where wild horses roam along the beach. It’s not something you see every day, and it always feels a little like stepping into another world when you’re there.

Over the past year, my own journey has reminded me how important it is to notice moments like this — to pause, breathe, and take in the peace that nature can offer.

It’s one of the reasons I’ve come to value creating spaces where others can do the same. Whether it’s a coastal stay in Ocean City or a quiet countryside escape, my hope is that the places I share give people a chance to slow down, reset, and reconnect with what matters most.

Sometimes the most meaningful experiences are closer than we think — we just have to take the time to see them.
