We wanted to let all of our guests, many of which have been part of our family for over twenty years, know that we have decided to retire from the innkeeping business. It has been a difficult decision with much thought, discussion, and tears. When we opened Bayberry Inn, our goal in 2001 was to run it as a bed and breakfast for 25 years. Our 2025 season was our 25th year. We have sold the property and have moved to Beesleys Point and are now living near the bay rather than the ocean. The new owners are doing some renovations and plan to run it as a whole house rental. All the best to them. While we know this is the best decision, we will miss all of our guests who have become friends and family over the years and who have shared in our joys and sorrows.
