A small plane made an emergency landing on the beach near 94th Street in Ocean City, resulting in minor injuries, according to the Ocean City Fire Department.

Take the bus! I always park my car and either walk or hop on the bus during the season.

We have a bus stop right at 48th Street and Coastal.

It's $4 to ride all day and the bus operates from 6AM - 3AM daily.

If you're over 65; are disabled or have a Medicare card, it's $2 to ride all day.

Exact cash required.

A bus should arrive every 15 minutes.

Looks like we’re not the only ones enjoying this beautiful weather. Two deer have been spotted taking a little “vacation” in the downtown area the past few days.

Believe it or not, this is perfectly normal. Deer occasionally wander into town and have even been spotted along the sandbars, taking a dip and enjoying the fresh vegetation in our dunes and bayside areas. Not a bad way to spend a day!

If you do see them, please admire from a distance. Do not approach, for your safety and theirs. They typically find their way back toward the West Ocean City area on their own.

We appreciate everyone helping keep both our community and our unexpected visitors safe.
