Ocean City, Maryland: The way you remember it.
My mom and dad bought this little house on the corner of Baltimore Avenue and 10th Street in Ocean City, Maryland in 1965 when I was just a 4 yr. old little girl. It is a two story apt. house with a first floor apt. and a 2nd floor apt. Both apartments are exactly the same ~~ like a mirror of one another. They both have a large living room, and dining room. The dining room table easily seats 10-12. A kitchen, pantry, and three bedrooms and one full and one half bath. It has that traditional front porch with wooden rocking chairs. We have parking (2 spaces for both apts.) Central AC/heat, WiFi, cable TV and a fully stocked kitchen. Renters bring their own bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, groceries, etc. My parents have both passed, but my brothers and I continue on. It was a blast growing up here in the mid 1960’s - 1970’s, and my brothers and I were blessed to have raised our own kids here during the 1980s - present. It is just a block off the boardwalk on 10th St. It only takes 84 seconds to get to the top of the ramp at the boardwalk. Very convenient to come home for lunch and to put babies down for naps when on the beach. We generally only rent to families. Each apt. sleeps 9 in beds. Both front bedrooms have 3 twin size beds, the middle bedroom has a double/full size bed, the back bedroom in each apt. has a queen size bed, and both pull-out couches in the living rooms are queen size. Because this house was built in 1929 ~~~ it is spacious. You are not piled on top of one another. We even have a back yard jointly used by both apts that has the old Ocean City outside shower ~~ complete with a wet and dry side, hot water, and a wash for sandy feet.
We generally rent week to week during the summer season ~ Saturday - Saturday. Our rates our very reasonable, and we have a 90% return rate season to season. We offer our current renters a “first right of refusal.” Current renters are guaranteed their same week year to year until such time they do not return. Therefore, come March 1st every year I pretty much know who is returning, I have received their $250.00 non-refundable deposits, and then know which weeks are available for the remaining season.

The house is located in downtown OC just so close and within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, mini golf, arcades, boardwalk, and just a hop, skip and jump over the 50 bridge to all conveniences in West O.
We do NOT allow pets. We have tried it many times over the last 52 years, but in today’s world with people having such hyper allergies, we have instituted a strict NO PETS Rule.
