It’s going on four years now since the inn was sold . My curiosity is satisfied as to what it will become. While I don’t have the details, this was sent to me as to what the lot looks like now. The colonial charm of a 100 year old home with beautiful grounds are a thing of the past. This may look better in the downtown area but doesn’t quite fit the charm of the Garden Section of town. My 2 cents. Thankfully I’m very happy in my Florida lifestyle and hope you have found another happy place to visit to be refreshed .

Our Story


  • We are the ONLY accommodation in the beautiful North end of the island known as the Gardens Section. When the inn was purchased in 2000, we gave it the name Inn The Gardens as people would associate it with the beautiful, quite, residential North end of the island. Now celebrating our 20th inn keeping anniversary, we can say that our slogan of “Come as Strangers, leave as Friends” has become a reality as most of our guests are repeat guests/friends. Inn the Gardens is;

  • A short walk to the beach, boardwalk and bay.

  • There are wonderful eateries our way.

  • Scrumptious buffet breakfasts from 8 to 10
