Some people have a gift of listening with full understanding

Some people have such a relaxed and calm presence, you get peace and a sense of balance just being in their company

Some people have a tangible energy and compassion for humanity and all of nature that inspires you to be aware more, give more

Some people's faith is a beacon of hope to all who know them ...

And then there are those people who are like a cool tonic on a hot day; like the sun breaking through dark clouds.
They are funny without trying to be, lifting your spirit without intention, just by who they are.
They can make you laugh until you're physically in pain, pleading to stop, while hoping they really won't.
Very often I think they are my favorite people ...

Cheers to all these beautiful people in our lives. But today especially to those with the gift of laughter, humor and joy! 🌻🍾🥂🫠🧡

Thanks for thinking of us..Our terrific Inn was sold several years ago...It is now a private home with 14 bedrooms and two apartments...

Girlfriends Get-Away weekend here in Ocean Grove is right around the corner...February 27 to March 1st...
Last year we had 18 fun loving women stay with us..Always a great time!

Just wanted to let our Inn friends know that some of our favorite stores and eating place has been lost due do a horrific fire yesterday..
Our town suffered a terrible loss but thanks to the Ocean Grove Firemen, along with many neighboring towns, confined the fire as it could have spread to the whole block...
We all feel the loss and hope to see Main Avenue come "back to life" real soon..

Hi...it feels strange to be writing this as we are no longer owners of the Henry Richard Inn...Yes, it finally happened...though bittersweet, we realized it was time to hang up our aprons, stop folding sheets, and pass our beloved, historic Inn to new owners..
We have loved sharing the last 14 years with our guests who became our friends..
Of course, Ocean Grove is our home, so please keep in touch with us and always say "Hi!" when you visit the beach....

This has been a strange but terrific summer! Lots of cool days which works for us...
The summer goes faster every year and soon it will be winding down but not before the next 3 weekends of fun things to do..
I saw Ronan Tynan last night..God has taken away his legs but blessed him with an amazing voice...it was a wonderful night at the Great Auditorium..
Come down and enjoy these delightful beach days!

We were so lucky to have 50 women attend our "Paint the Town Pink" tea for Breast Cancer Awareness...It was a great time and thanks to the Starving Artist, the sandwiches were terrific...the desserts were homemade and were absolutely yummy...

Had a great mixture of guests this weekend...Germany, Austria and Switzerland were represented along with Marathon runners and their families..Always so interesting..Of course, I was thinking of the Beer Gardens in Germany, Singing the music from "Sound of Music" and looking for a Swiss knife or watch..Great fun!
