If you haven’t heard of Bayocean and the city that fell into the sea, this is a super interesting documentary! Bayocean was a lively retreat in the early part of the 20th century, then nature took course. It’s just 20 min from Oceanside. You can still see remnants of the city visiting the beach.

Bayocean, "the town that fell into the sea," stands as a warning to the hubris of our ever-spreading society.
