Shabbat Shalom OSRUI!

Today we're introducing Shabbat Showcases, a new weekly series celebrating the people, families, communities, and leaders who make OSRUI so special.

First up is last summer’s incredible Mazkirut, our seasonal leadership team! Whether they were leading a unit or overseeing an area of camp, their mentorship and guidance helped shape camper and staff experiences all summer long. Thank you for everything you gave to our camp community 🫶

Today, three years later, we remember.

We remember the lives taken on October 7, 2023. We remember and think of those whose lives changed forever.

Today reminds us of the heartbreak of a day that sent ripples through Jewish communities across the world, leaving many forever wounded by its violence and loss.

May the memories of those we lost be a blessing, may those who survived continue to find healing, and may we hold one another close as we carry their stories forever.

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach OSRUI!

This weekend we celebrate Simchat Torah, the completion of the annual cycle of the reading of the Torah. In the spirit of this joyful holiday, we’re looking back on a few of the countless moments our camp community spent learning from, celebrating, and connecting through the Torah this summer.
