Worth the drive from Ogunquit (even in some heavy rain)

We finally made it to Mr. Tuna Friday night and it absolutely lived up to expectations.

Beautiful plates and flavors and some of the most memorable bites we’ve had in Portland, Maine.

Already thinking about when we’ll be going back next. 🍣❤️

Between beach walks, dinners in town, rainy afternoons, and all the moments that make time in Ogunquit feel special… it’s nice coming back to Five Pines at the end of the day. 🌲

Fascinating history 👍🏻

The 1920s photograph of Perkins Cove shows a road leading to the cove with existing street lights. A notable dispute over streetlights began around 1900 when Ogunquit residents' request for funded streetlights was rejected by Wells town meeting. This led Ogunquit residents to petition the Maine State Legislature, resulting in the formation of the Ogunquit Village Corporation in 1913. during this time the cove was dotted with fishermen and artists.

"We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially taken over the space at 261 Shore Road, formerly home to Northern Union!

Over the past several weeks, electricians, plumbers, and painters have been hard at work while we’ve been putting everything we have into getting the space ready to open as quickly as possible.

Our excitement is through the roof as we prepare for this grand reopening during Five-O’s 25th anniversary year. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and see you all soon! We will announce an official reopen date shortly."
