We are excited to share something new for the upcoming season at Terrace by the Sea!

We have been working on refreshing our look and are proud to roll out a few new logo designs that better reflect our property and the beauty of the Maine coast.

You will start to see these new logos featured on select merchandise items available throughout the season. We are looking forward to sharing them with you and hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

This week’s staff spotlight is on Lilian, our Front Desk Supervisor.

Originally from Jamaica, Lilian is now in her 8th season at Terrace by the Sea. She has become a key part of the guest experience—helping guests with their bookings, sharing valuable information about the property and local activities, and training our front desk team to ensure a smooth and welcoming check-in process.

Outside of work, Lilian enjoys visiting The Front Porch and eating dinner at Nikanos.

Fun facts: She’s a big fan of Grey’s Anatomy she’s watched the entire series three times. She also has an 18-year-old son named Nathanyel, who she calls every night before bed.

We’re grateful for all that she does and proud to have her as part of the Terrace family.

Staff Spotlight: Housekeeping Team

This week, we are proud to recognize the exceptional work of our Housekeeping Department here at Terrace by the Sea.

Our housekeeping staff plays a vital role in ensuring that every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Their attention to detail and strong work ethic often go unseen, but their impact is felt in every room, every day.

We would like to take a moment to highlight two of our team’s dedicated leaders:

Pam, our senior housekeeping supervisor, has been an integral part of the Terrace team for over 30 years. Outside of work, Pam enjoys both gardening and kayaking. Pams leadership, attention to detail and knowledge of the property are vital to keeping our rooms clean.

Denise, one of our housekeeping supervisors, has been an important and valued member of our team for the past four years. Her reliability and strong presence have made her a key part of the department’s daily operations.

Our housekeeping team includes individuals from Guatemala, Honduras, and Jamaica, each bringing valuable skills and a shared commitment to quality service. Some are enjoying their first or second season, while others have returned year after year.

Outside of work, many team members enjoy trying new foods, spending time at the beach, and building friendships that extend beyond the workday.

We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, pride, and professionalism that our housekeeping team brings to Terrace by the Sea.

“I really enjoy everything about my job — but especially getting to talk to guests in the morning during breakfast. It’s such a nice way to connect and help them start their day on a positive note.”

“Big Daddy’s Ice Cream Shop is one of my favorite places to stop by in town.”
