A rare opening just popped up for Easter weekend at the Gazebo Inn

We had a larger group cancellation, which means multiple rooms are now available — something that almost never happens for a weekend like this.

Even better, all open rooms can be booked for a single night, making it easy to plan a quick spring getaway.

If you’ve been thinking about visiting Ogunquit, this is a great opportunity.

Time for one of my favorite posts of the year! Share a photo or two from a visit to the Gazebo Inn. It can be from a recent stay, or 20 years ago!

I’ll go first, who remembers our fully restored 1989 Mercedes limousine? The car served us well for a better part of 10 years, in 2017 we sought something more modern with amenities like air conditioning!

Let’s show people what we are all about!

It was a busy weekend tending to a full house, but we didn’t forget about the people of Facebook that couldn’t join us!
What was for breakfast this morning? French toast!

Fresh cinnamon loaf cut think in house, shredded potatoes, peppers and onions, ham carved in house, chicken sausage. On the side a Maine maple syrup, home made mixed berry, and our highly enjoyed cinnamon apple topping
Order as much or as little as you wish.

Of course have fruit, yogurt, and scones scones scones!

Show is the daily display, the menu each guest receives, and a few of the plates headed out to guests!

The guests that have stayed in the last few months might have heard me (Peter) talking about him, those that haven't this is Benson!

We’d like to officially introduce the newest (and smallest) member of the Captain’s Quarters family — Benson, our mini Goldendoodle puppy!

Born August 31, 2025, Benson has quickly taken on his very important role as our unofficial Director of Guest Relations. He loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs, and will never turn down a belly rub.

As a family-owned, dog-friendly motel, welcoming guests traveling with their dogs has always been at the heart of what we do — and now we get to experience Ogunquit through puppy eyes too.

If you’re staying with us this season, there’s a good chance you’ll meet Benson around the property saying hello (or attempting to make new best friends).

We’re proud to have him representing our family and the warm, welcoming atmosphere we hope every guest — two- and four-legged — feels at Captain’s Quarters.

Hopefully you’ll have the chance to meet Benson during your stay!

Good news for summer planning!

We’ve lowered our summer minimum stay requirements for the Gazebo Inn — giving you more flexibility to plan a getaway during our 20th anniversary season.

Summer in Ogunquit fills quickly, and this is shaping up to be an amazing one. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy all the Gazebo favorites (and a few extra 20th-season surprises!).

It might not be an outside dining kind of morning, but the fireplaces are keeping us warm for breakfast!
